History

This vehicle was according to existing Kardex first delivered on June 3, 1965 Porsche America, Teaneck to an owner in New Jersey.

In 1984, the vehicle came to California for his next long-term owner. He had the car until at least the mid-90s in possession.

In 2000, the vehicle was imported from California to Germany, first run sporadically and then stored. The current owner has then bought the vehicle in September 2012 at a specialist company in connection with a restoration job. The vehicle had a very good substance and was nearly complete. The restoration then took time until October 2014 including revision including engine and transmission, because of the difficulties in getting some parts for engine overhaul (carburetor, air cleaner box). Invoices for an amount of approx. 100 kEUR are in file.

Over the winter 2014/2015 the car was further optimized by ELEVENCLASSICS, i.e. suspension settings, mass gap, etc. so that it is now in an excellent condition - ready to be driven and enjoyed.

Since the restoration's completion, the car has covered only some 500 kilometres and has never seen rain; it has also been maintained properly. A stunning and very rare early 911 with the short wheelbase, it is described by the private vendor as in generally excellent condition.
